Support on different levels will make a positive impact on your weight loss surgery journey!

I am a resource junkie! I believe in having support on different levels at different times. I don't have just one type of support in my weight loss journey, I have a multitude.
Personally I need 'safe people' in my life to give me one on one support during this life changing journey. Safe people, for me, are those who I can speak freely with by being open and honest without judgment.
My weight loss journey is full of lifestyle changes that are both positive and negative. I need those who are cheering me on during the good times and picking me up off the floor during the worst.
I encourage you find people who can support you on a personal level. Check with your bariatric clinic to see if they have any type of program that offers mentors, bariatric buddies or any additional resources. Continue attending support groups, reach out to your WLS community online and support each other!
